I have a 1995 ford ranger and the door ajar light stays on and the buzzers
dings constantly unless I remove the fuse, but if I take the fuse out I
have no speedometer or windsheild wipers. Some one told me to spray inside
the contacts in the door under the hinge with WD40 but that doesn’t work.
Any suggestions?

i’m about to do my first plug change.

however, coolant has been disappearing (i know, i know) and
when i pull the plugs i’d like to know what to look for.
the oil still looks like oil.  and the antifreeze doesn’t smell
funny.  i think that’s a good sign.

also, which plug is number 4?  a lot of reports have
the intake gasket leak occuring there.

Where is the passenger side front door switch ?
Look like it is behind the door panel. activate
by the door latch. How hard to remove the
panel  to gain access ?

On my 2001 Escort ES, why can I travel 200 miles on the 1st half of a tank
of fuel, but barely over 100 miles on the 2nd half?  This would be
expected if the fuel tank was cone shaped, but it isn’t.
