351 Ford Swapping Help Needed

Me and a friend are trying to fit a 1971 351 Cleveland from a Torino into
a 1968 F100 originally equipped with a 390/3speed.  We will get the motor
mounts from the Torino to work either that or fabricate some.  The
headers may or may not fit we will play with those later.  The problem is
the tranny.  We want to put a C6 automatic in it, but the truck had a
3-on-the-tree converted to floor shift manual in it before with the 390.
Will the C6 fit? We will probably have to do more fabricating, but the
shifter will be no problem as we will put a cable shifted B&M in there.
Any advice on ANYTHING concerning this swap is more than appreciated.
Please email with the posts as i am not able to be on here that much.
Thanks.

Engine rebuild ?/89 Ford Tbird LX

Hi everyone,
I don’t know if this is the right newsgroup to ask this question in
(I sure hope it is) but I am going to ask away anyways.  I have an 89′
LX Thunderbird and unfortunately (from the various people whom I have
talked to) need to have the engine rebuilt due to rod-bearings going out
(from what I understand two of them are pretty bad).

The questions that I want to ask to anyone who can help is basically how
much I can expect to pay for this (I already have one quote for apx.
2500 with labor and everything).

Another questions I want to ask is how long I can expect this rebuilt
engine to last and what type of warranty should I go for (the above
quoted price gave me a 6 months warranty, and I am unsure about the
mileage).  If anyone has had a rebuilt engine installed (especially the
3.8l V6 on the LX) I would love to hear from you, and basically if
anyone can give me some advice on what to look out for and what to
expect after the rebuild I would appreciate it.

Also if anyone could give me some information on what could have caused
these bearings to go out so fast (the car only has 83k miles on it) I
would love to hear from you.

If you are replying to this message, please e-mail me as well at
"Stdjj…@unx1.shsu.edu".

Thanks.

Wiper Assemby: Bronco II

I would appreciate anyone’s help with this.
I have an ’84 Bronco II, and the right wiper does not wipe
because the very bottom base (ie. under the hood grill and only
be handled via the access hole) has popped out of the pocket
which is attached to the horizontal moving arm which itself is
attached to the left wiper and motor.

I need to somehow keep the two parts together.  I don’t know if
the whole part has just competely rusted out. If so how much will this
part(s) cost, if available separately.  Or is there another part which has
broken away that belongs there, ie. a clip?

Thanks in advance.

Aerostar Seats wanted

I am looking for the middle captain chairs for a 95 Aerostar.  I am
located in CA.  I have the seat with the built in child seats and would
be willing to trade.  I have grey herringbone upholstery.
